Your organization
How do you run an organization on IFC? It hosts tournaments, cups and leagues, and gathers a community around them.
What to remember
- An organization hosts events: tournaments, cups and leagues. Create it in the app or on the web: a name, a logo and a few details. You become its owner.
- Its community: anyone joins a public organization; in a private one, the owner approves each request. Members stay informed of its tournaments and events.
- Roles: the owner does everything; admins and staff help run it. They create a tournament, add the teams, generate the schedule, manage the scores and settle disagreements: see Tournaments.
- The ranking: every team that plays your competitions enters your organization's overall ranking, and every confirmed match moves its Elo.
Good to know
- A captain can also ask to link their team in advance; an owner or admin accepts. A team the organizer turned down stays out of the ranking.
- The Feed (on the web) is the community's news wall: owners and admins post, members comment.
- The organization's page lists its competitions: live, upcoming and past.
- The organization's wallet is for its owner only: see Economy.
